Terms of Agreement for Mentor Group Membership

This Agreement is entered into by and between Liz Smith, Certified Coach, and you (Participant) whereby Liz agrees to provide access to all content related to the Cocoon Room resource hub and the addition of monthly live meetings via Zoom, as accessed through the Thinkific online platform.

Description of Mentor Group Membership: This level of membership includes access to all content related to the Cocoon Room resource hub, online community and the addition of monthly live meetings via Zoom, as accessed through the Thinkific online platform. Mentor classes are held monthly with the except of January and July in which no class is held. Membership is an experiential process of self-reflection, discovery and growth, with the support of recorded videos, guided practices, live online groups and a community container via Thinkific for regular interaction between Members and Liz and the Cocoon Room Team.

1) Mentor/Participant Relationship

A. Participant acknowledges that this program is a comprehensive process that may involve different areas of their life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. The Participant agrees that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate resource hub practices into those areas and implementing choices is exclusively the Participant’s responsibility.

B. Participant acknowledges that participation in this membership does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental or physical health disorders as defined by and that this program is not to be used as a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals and that it is the Participants exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed.

C. The Participant understands that in order to enhance their experience, the Participant agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the classes and community.

2) Services
The participant agrees to engage in the Mentor Group Membership by accessing monthly live meetings (or recorded), resource hub content and communication on the program platform (Thinkific).

3) Schedule and Fees
The fee for this membership is listed on your registration page. Participants are required to sign up for a minimum 3 month membership, with recurring payments made every 3 months. Following the initial 3 month period a request can be made to cancel automated recurring payments. A request to cancel membership must be made in writing to hello@cocoonroom.com.au at least 7 days prior to membership renewal. If you are unsure of your renewal date please email us. There are no refunds.

4) Confidentiality
The Mentor-Participant relationship is not considered a legally confidential relationship (like the medical and legal professions) and thus communications are not subject to the protection of any legally recognized privilege. The Mentor agrees not to disclose any information pertaining to the Participant without written consent.

5) Recordings and Images
Live meetings will be recorded for the purpose of being available to all Mentor Group Participants to view. Meetings will not be made available for viewing outside of the private program platform (Thinkific).

6) Limited Liability
Except as expressly provided in this Agreement, the Mentor makes no guarantees, representations or warranties of any kind or nature, express or implied with respect to the coaching services negotiated, agreed upon and rendered. In no event shall the Mentor be liable to the Participant for any indirect, consequential or special damages.

7) Entire Agreement
This document reflects the entire agreement between the Mentor and the Participant, and reflects a complete understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter.

By proceeding with a Mentor Group Membership subscription you agree to the terms of this agreement.
